DoubleHorn Communications Delivers Hosted PBX Solution, Expanded Bandwidth to Austin Company

AUSTIN, Texas --(Business Wire)-- DoubleHorn Communications (www.doublehorn.com), the premier small business communications provider in Texas, announced today that it was delivering a hosted PBX Solution, IPOneTM Complete, along with datacenter and optical Internet access services, to Blastro Networks, the Internet's leading HD-streaming music video network.

DoubleHorn, in conjunction with AboveNet (www.abovenet.com) is facilitating a 10 Gigabit Ethernet Internet connection for Blastro (www.blastro.com), which means Blastro will be able to deliver IP media content to its end users over a robust, unimpeded connection.

"One of our objectives was to find a Texas-based company that could address two of our biggest needs - improving our existing data and telecommunications network (IPOne Complete) and ensuring that our content could be delivered to our national and international end users without any bottlenecks," said Fletcher Lee, COO of Blastro Networks. "In DoubleHorn, we found a company that could accomplish both of these tasks, while maintaining a superior level of customer service." In addition to IPOne CompleteTM, DoubleHorn also offers a variety of products for Small Businesses today, including: IPOneTM Integrated - A managed bundle that is a great replacement for those costly phone lines or the PRI companies currently have in place, while providing Dedicated Broadband Internet access.

IPOneTM Trunking - A managed solution that provides companies the flexibility of using their existing Key Telephone System or PBX phone system with the added enhancement of SIP trunking to replace the costly phone lines or PRI.

OpenVoiceTM Plus - A hosted service utilizing the customer's existing broadband connectivity to deliver voice services and PBX features and functionality.

OpenVoiceTM Basic - A service that provides standards based SIP for those companies that already have an existing VoIP enabled (or IP based) Key Telephone System or PBX phone system and broadband access.

"With more than four years under our belt and hundreds of customers, we have had the luxury of learning about the needs and wants of Small Businesses that have a big reach, like Blastro," said Tab Schadt, CEO of DoubleHorn Communications, "Pairing our focused experience with our commitment to service and technological innovation, we now offer a selection of products and services that introduce compelling new features and cost savings to small and medium-sized companies." In addition to the above products, DoubleHorn has also begun offering another service - managed IP transit for high bandwidth media applications, which Blastro was quick to take advantage of.

This service was fueled by DoubleHorn's recently formed partnership with AboveNet, a national provider of fiber optic connectivity solutions for businesses and carriers.

"This partnership with AboveNet is less than three months old and we already have customers benefiting, like Blastro," said Schadt. "We believe there are a number of companies that would consider such connectivity options if they knew how reasonably priced and low maintenance this offering can be."
