Caja de Compensacion La Araucana selects SAP to improve business processes

Caja de Compensacion La Araucana, a Chile-based insurance company, has selected SAP software to improve business processes and stay up to date with current insurance regulations and standards.
The first phase of the SAP implementation project covers the enterprise resource planning (ERP) application SAP ERP for managing its key processes and is aimed at modernizing the financial, accounting, sales and credit departments, SAP said.
SAP has said that business intelligence solutions will also be implemented, which provide the company a complete view of its business to help close the gap between strategy and execution.
In 2010, the insurer plans to implement the SAP for Banking solution portfolio and the SAP Customer Relationship Management application. With this, La Araucana will be able to fulfill its objectives of maximizing profitability, managing risks, optimizing processes and improving customer relations.
