Reality Mobile Unveils First Patent Award

Jan 11, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Reality Mobile, a technology company delivering enterprise-class real-time mobile video collaboration solutions, announced that it has been granted U.S. Patent No. 7,860,944 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.


The Company said the patented technology relates to mobile-to-mobile visualization of streaming video and other data along with location-based information. It builds on Reality Mobile's software portfolio, which addresses mission critical mobile video and data visualization and collaboration needs of large enterprises, governments and technology OEMs. The technology has been a core component of the company's RealityVision enterprise mobile collaboration software platform from its inception. It will also give much greater context to consumers in being able to visualize live video feeds and the originating location information in different ways on smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices.

"The issuance of our first patent is a momentous occasion for our company, as it underscores the innovative nature of Reality Mobile's technology platform and reinforces our vision of becoming the standard for mobile video collaboration," said David Kramer, President & Chief Executive Officer, Reality Mobile and co-inventor named in the patent.

"The technology stands to impact both consumer and enterprise markets as practically any mobile device application providing push or pull access to real-time streaming data, a user-friendly display and corresponding location information would require this technology," said Brian Geoghegan, Chief Product Officer, Reality Mobile and another inventor named in the patent.
