TOKYO - Kokuyo Co., a stationery maker, said Wednesday it will add six items for sale from March 27 to the lineup of its CamiApp paper notebooks for uploading handwritten data to smartphones via a dedicated application, including an A4 horizontal version that it says should better fit for keeping diagram and other graphic notes.

TOKYO - Toshiba Corp. said Wednesday it will release the new Exceria brand of SD memory cards, used in digital devices, including units offering the world's fastest data transfer speeds, for sale in Japan in April.
---------- Hitachi Chemical to upgrade Hong Kong chip material unit
TOKYO - Hitachi Chemical Co. said Wednesday it will invest around 1 billion yen to upgrade facilities at its subsidiary Hitachi Chemical Electric Materials (Hong Kong) Ltd. to produce circuit board materials for semiconductor packages.
