Ben Natan, Bahar and Toren Join ClearOne Executive Team

ClearOne announced the appointments of three new executives formerly associated with VCON Video Conferencing: Avishay Ben Natan will serve as ClearOne's Chief Technology Officer; Rami Bahar will serve as ClearOne's Vice President of Global Video and International Sales; and Shai Toren will serve as ClearOne's Vice President, Video Conferencing Business.
"In addition to VCON's world-class technology and intellectual property, the VCON acquisition brings ClearOne a wealth of knowledge and experience by retaining VCON's management team," said Zee Hakimoglu, Chairman and CEO of ClearOne, in a release. "The addition of this team opens the door for new business partnerships worldwide."
Natan, as CTO, will be responsible for determining and driving strategic technology innovation by aligning ClearOne's technology vision with its business strategy.
Bahar's previous experience includes managing national and international sales, marketing and business development operations for Sharp Corporation and Philips. Along with Ben Natan, he was also one of the founders of C-nario, as well as its VP of Sales and Strategic Planning. In his new role, he will be responsible for worldwide sales of ClearOne video products, including video conferencing, multimedia streaming and digital signage products. Additionally, Bahar will have international sales responsibility for the entire line of ClearOne audio solutions.
Toren spent five years with Polycom Video Solutions Group managing worldwide video partnering solutions for the company. Prior to that, he was Director of Product Management for Comverse Technologies, working in their mobile data division. As Vice President, Video Conferencing Business, he will be responsible for business operations, and go-to-market planning for ClearOne's Video Conferencing solutions.
ClearOne designs, develops and sells conferencing, collaboration, streaming and digital signage solutions for audio, video and data multimedia communication.
