|WHAT: |-- 37-year-old male patient received a full face transplant, including upper and |
| |lower jawbones, teeth, a portion of the tongue, and soft tissue from hairline to |
| |neck. |

| |-- The face transplant was part of a 72-hour marathon of transplant activity at |
| |one of the busiest transplant centers in the world. Five other lives were saved |
| |through the heroic gift of organ donation by one anonymous donor. |
