Futures market survey: 60 pct expect range trading of Shanghai zinc on Tue.

BEIJING, Jun 18, 2012 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- About 60 percent futures experts surveyed by the China Finance Corporation, a financial information provider run by Xinhua News Agency, expect range-bound trading of zinc futures traded on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) on Tuesday, while 40 percent are bullish about the commodity.


The SHFE benchmark zinc contract, for July delivery, opened 65 yuan lower at 14,920 yuan/t on Tuesday morning.

Futures experts here include futures brokers, research institutions and other market observers.

The futures brokers that are bullish about Shanghai zinc include Donghua Futures and New Era Futures.

The futures brokers that expect range trading of Shanghai zinc include HNA Futures, Huayuan Futures and Shenhua Futures. (Edited by Wang Li, wangle1@xinhua.org)
