Moonblink Helps Servnet Deploy Video Surveillance Network to Secure Port Harcourt Base of Oil & Gas Giant Schlumberger

SILICON VALLEY, Calif., Nov 14, 2012 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Moonblink Communications, a value-added distributor delivering wireless and video surveillance solutions, today announced that reseller partner Servnet Limited has deployed a video surveillance network to secure the Port Harcourt, Nigeria base of Magcobar Mfg., a producer of drilling fluids, and MI-SWACO, a Schlumberger company and a leading supplier of drilling systems, drilling equipment, and environmental solutions for the disposal of drilling waste. The video surveillance system enables MI-SWACO to not only protect and secure the base as well as company assets, but also to remotely monitor and manage employee efficiency.

Moonblink worked with Servnet to identify the specific cameras, mounting gear, and networking gear needed to meet the customer's needs, and provided ongoing support to Servnet. Servnet was able to secure the entire perimeter of the base and give Magcobar Mfg. and MI-SWACO better visibility throughout the base.

Based on the success of this deployment, Servnet is planning additional security and surveillance deployments -- some including wireless connectivity of surveillance cameras -- for additional Nigerian customers.
