MANATEE, Nov 21, 2012 (The Bradenton Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
A man wanted for burglary was arrested Wednesday morning after deputies found him hiding under a bed in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
On July 2, several storage sheds in the 1500 block of 39th Street East in Palmetto were burglarized, with scrap metal stolen. A neighbor of the victim was also burglarized during that time and captured the incidents on his video surveillance cameras, according to the sheriff's office.
A detective identified the suspect as Roger Jibson, who scrapped items matching those stolen later in the day.
An arrest warrant was signed on July 19, but Jibson was not in the area when deputies arrived, according to the sheriff's office.
Several deputies converged on Jibson's house Wednesday morning where they found the suspect hiding under a bed in the master bedroom, according to the sheriff's office.
