U.S. Border Patrol Weekly Blotter, Blaine Sector December 13 - December 26

Blaine, Wash. - The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to the U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations. For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.
12/14/2012 - Operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System observed an individual cross the U.S./Canada border east of Blaine, Washington. Agents responded to the area and observed a vehicle leaving the premises, a vehicle stop was conducted. The vehicle's occupant, a citizen of India, was determined to be illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to the Blaine Border Patrol Station for processing. A records check indicated that the subject had been previously removed from the United States and had prior criminal convictions including attempted murder. The subject was processed for reinstatement of a prior order of removal.
12/15/2012 - Agents observed three people illegally cross the U.S./Canada border and enter a vehicle east of Lynden, Washington. Agents conducted a stop of the vehicle and determined the three occupants, citizens of South Korea, to be illegally present in the United States. The subjects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.
12/19/2012 - Operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System observed a suspicious vehicle leaving the U.S./Canada border east of Blaine, Washington. Agents responded to the area and conducted a stop of the vehicle. The three occupants of the vehicle, citizens of Guatemala, were determined to be illegally present in the United States. The group was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
12/19/2012 - Agents observed a group of three people cross the U.S./Canada border illegally west of Sumas, Washington. Agents located the group, citizens of India, and determined the subjects to be illegally present in the United States. The subjects were placed under arrested and processed for removal.
12/22/2012 - Operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System observed an individual illegally cross the U.S./Canada border in Blaine, Washington. Agents responded to the area and apprehended the subject, a citizen of Mexico, determined to be illegally present in the United States. A records check indicated that the subject had been previously removed from the United States and had prior criminal convictions for driving while intoxicated. The subject was processed for reinstatement of a prior order of removal.
