Reward offered for van Have a Heart window break

A reward has been offered for information related to a recent break-in of a vehicle belonging to a local nonprofit.
According to a Milledgeville Police report, sometime between 5 p.m. Jan. 5 and 8 a.m. the following Sunday, the passenger side window was broken out of the Have a Heart, Save a Life pet rescue organization's van parked at Complete Cash located on N. Columbia Street.
It appears that a piece of concrete was used for the damage at the North Columbia Street location. No supplies from inside the van were missing.
There is no video surveillance at the business. A $500 reward is being offered for any information. Call Valerie Buckley at (478) 232-8155 with any information.

Criminal trespass
A woman reported that an unknown man was seen spray painting her trash can lid sometime on Jan. 5. The woman went to take out her trash at approximately 12:32 a.m. and saw a male running down the street. A neighbor informed the woman that he witnessed the man spray painting the can earlier. Theft by shoplifting
A Walmart Loss Prevention employee reported a man took a can of spray paint, a bag of Lays potato chips, and a case of Bud Light beer around 4:45 p.m. Jan. 9. Theft by taking
A man reported that someone stole the three batteries from his boat, located at his house boat behind his residence on Clover Court Jan. 8.
Burglary
A woman at an Ebony Lounge Road address reported a break-in sometime before 9 p.m. Jan. 7. When returning to her home she noticed the screen door had been torn off and there was a crack in the front door. No items were missing from the home. While checking her home, she noticed that someone had been on her computer and looked up multiple websites. The suspect's Facebook page was still up on the screen.
