3xLOGIC Debuts Wireless 'All-in-One' Cube Camera

IP cameras are increasingly being used for security purposes as they provide super clear images compared to CCTVs. Also, IP cameras offer consistent image quality, irrespective of the distance.

IP cameras are simple to install as they do not require additional RS-485, audio or electric cabling.

Exploring opportunities in this field, 3xLOGIC has announced the availability of VSX-1.3MP-PIR1 cameras. This wireless IP camera provides 1.3 megapixel images and offers high-quality images with better resolution.

The camera comes with a cube design to make it blend with any type of interiors. It provides security features such as built-in motion detection and tamper-proof facilities.

The alarm also switches on when the network is disconnected.

The cameras offered by 3xLOGIC work well with audio, video and transactional data.

The combination of all these elements is called the VIGIL platform, and makes use of several state-of-the-art video surveillance technologies. The company has also collaborated with various OEM partners and has been providing its services to numerous clients all over the world.

"The Swiss Army Knife of Surveillance Cameras is how users have been describing this distinctively designed cube camera," said Dave Nieweg, general manager and vice president of 3xLOGIC, Inc. "While it delivers all the sought after remote alarm capabilities, its image clarity (up to 1280 x 960 pixels) and flexible deployment options (either PoE or wireless) are where it truly distinguishes itself from the competition."

In March 2012, the company made it easier for security video appliances to store and watch large video files with the introduction of its VIGIL System 7 Video Management Software. Working on the company's VIGIL hybrid digital video recorders (DVR) and network video recorders (NVR), the company stated, this new software remotely streams high-definition video files with ease.
