U.S. Border Patrol Weekly Blotter, Blaine Sector, January 10 - January 30, 2013

Feb 11, 2013 (DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY DOCUMENTS AND PUBLICATIONS/ContentWorks via COMTEX) -- (Thursday, February 7, 2013) Blaine, Wash. - The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to the U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations. For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.


01/10/2013 - Three people were observed illegally crossing the U.S./Canada border in Blaine, Wash. by operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System. Responding agents encountered the group, who were all determined to be citizens of India illegally present in the United States. The subjects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

01/13/2013 - Operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System observed a person illegally cross the U.S./Canada border east of Blaine, Wash. When agents responded to the area, the individual attempted to avoid detection and subsequently ran from the agents. Agents encountered the subject again after a lengthy search of the area. The subject was determined to be a citizen of Honduras illegally present in the United States. The individual was placed under arrest and processed for reinstatement of a prior order of removal.

01/25/2013 - Operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System observed two people illegally cross the U.S./Canada border in Blaine, Wash. Agents responded to the area and apprehended the subjects. The subjects, one a citizen of the Philippines and the other a citizen of Cuba, were determined to be illegally present in the United States. Both were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

Agents responded to the area and located the subject, a citizen of Canada, who was determined to be illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
