IP phone maker IP Trade Networks showed off its products at a recent open house hosted by BBH Solutions. At the event, IP Trade Networks featured its trading turret based on IP Trade's Session Initiation Protocol (News
- Alert).
The solution is fully compatible with Cisco Unified Communications Manager and other VoIP systems.

In case you missed it, TMCnet had a chance to sit down with Bill Savino, marketing manager for business communication solutions at Panasonic (News - Alert) System Communications Company of North America, to discuss its latest SIP phone, an open source-based operating system desk phone, talked about at length on the tradeshow floor.
“Being that this phone is a truly customizable business solution, it can really be tailored to a variety of vertical markets,” Savino said. “We believe that the main vertical markets that will benefit from the Panasonic SIP KX-UT670 Smart Desk Phone (News - Alert) will the retail, healthcare, hospitality and education. Additionally, for any business industry, the KX-UT670 can be used for office facility control- to open and close curtains, control air conditioning and heating or even lock and unlock doors- the possibilities are really endless.”

Last but not least, LG-Ericsson (News
- Alert) announced that its products have “beaten all averages in SIP-trunking interoperability tests that were administered by 3NG networks.”
