Business VoIP solutions can form the cornerstone of a unified solution. 3CX, an international developer of telecommunications software headquartered in Europe, is helping its clients benefit from such solutions. The company revealed that its 3CX Phone (News - Alert) System is now interoperable with Vitelity, a provider of VoIP and telephony services worldwide.
With this successful testing and certification, 3CX Phone System customers can now benefit from a from high quality internet telephony services for voice calls with Vitelity.
"With the successful integration, 3CX further increases its range in the USA and worldwide, with more people being able to take advantage of a low cost VoIP telephony solution from Vitelity," Brian Conway, sales director at 3CX, said in a press release.
The 3CX Phone System is an open standard unified communications platform for Windows that works with standard SIP phones and replaces a proprietary PBX (News - Alert). Vitelity offers wholesale voice, fax, SMS, and hosting services. As SIP Trunk configuration is fully integrated in 3CX Phone System 10, Vitelity can become a 3CX Supported SIP Trunk Provider.
As a certified 3CX SIP provider, Vitelity can now provide 3CX customers with another option for SIP trunk services that are guaranteed to work seamlessly with 3CX Phone System.

Business VoIP is a technology that allows making and receiving phone calls over the Internet, instead of normal phone lines. It is usually far less costly than landline phone costs. A recent TMCnet article lists some of the factors businesses are considering to switch to business VoIP solutions.
