TMCnet SIP Phones Week in Review

This week, the SIP Phones space was packed with information and valuable advice – from exciting new reveals to the hottest deals on the market. We’ve got it all here for you and are going to lay out some of this week’s highlights right now.

Kicking off the week is news of Grandstream SIP cordless phones being made interoperable via Epygi (News - Alert) Quadro IP-PBXs. Grandstream, a manufacturer of IP voice and video telephony as well as IP video surveillance solutions, made the statement that its newly launched DP7515/710 DECT (News - Alert) Cordless SIP Phones would be made compatible with Quadro IP-PBXs to ultimately offer a wider range of indoor/outdoor wireless radio coverage as well as high audio quality.

Grandstream’s SIP cordless phones are offered at an affordable price point, which also offer TLS and SRTP security protection and SIP open standards flexibility. Further, plug-and-play installation allows businesses to add DP715/DP710 phones to their IP networks without needing physical hard wiring to employees’ desktop or other facility locations, this TMC article elaborates.

In other news, WUN Systems Inc., a provider of hosted VoIP solutions for executive suites in over 80 cities across North America, recently expanded its workspace technology offering to include business-class SIP trunking services. These services offer a flexible VoIP dial tone solution which can be tailored to meet the specific needs of any business while also saving them money, as explained in this TMC article.

“We’re excited to offer business centers WUN’s SIP trunking,” says Dale Hersowitz of WUN Systems. “Workspaces can use as much or as little service their business requires. WUN’s pay-as-you-grow approach offers maximum flexibility and ensures that workspace owners and operators never pay for capacity they don’t need.”

Wrapping up the week is news of a special one-time-only deal offered on a refurbished Panasonic (News - Alert) KX-TG4023N cordless SIP phone system via TechWoot, an online provider of discounted items ranging from electronics to wine. Coming from Panasonic’s renowned line of SIP cordless phones, this DECT 6.0-powered cordless phone system pairs perfectly with both POTS and VoIP services and came as a steal at only $29.99 with a $5 shipping fee.

The offer was ideal for customers seeking an inexpensive upgrade to their current phone system, even coming with three bonus deals. To see more details, click here.
