Panasonic Unveils New Reseller Program, Offers Partners Competitive Advantage

Panasonic (News - Alert), a world-renowned provider of technology from SIP phones to HDTVs, announced last week that it launched a new Panasonic Authorized Reseller Program aimed at providing its resellers with a competitive advantage. The company elaborated that the program will form an alignment between its sales force and channel community, which will provide a “consistent program experience for all authorized resellers.”

"Built to support our sales strategy, our new Authorized Reseller Program will offer participating resellers potential access to all Panasonic B2B technologies, under a consistent set of terms and conditions," explained Bill Brennan, senior director, channel sales - resellers, Panasonic System Communications Company in a statement.

"The new program will offer our partners greater program consistency, access to new solutions, and more in-house channel resources. These core program elements will give our partners what they need to grow their business and equip their customers with a technology solution for nearly any application."

The company has also notably grown its channel sales, marketing and support organization by about 20 percent to better serve the channel community. Panasonic is confident that its resellers will enjoy the benefits that will come along with the program, including a new partner portal containing all technology, solutions and program information across the entire product portfolio, Security InfoWatch reports.

Recently, the company was selected by both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions as a key technology provider to support their on-site and on-line activities. By highlighting its esteemed technology at the 2012 Political Conventions, it will be touting its robust cameras, projectors and displays to support a variety of needs. The company, for example, revealed that it would be providing LUMIX GH2 16-Megapixel Compact System Cameras for the parties’ Web and social media efforts during the convention, as well as its 32” Class LCD displays to be used at delegate hotels and at Charlotte-area event venues to provide convention attendees up-to-the-minute updates.
