Matrix Comsec and SURiX recently announced that its IP-PBXs have cleared interoperability certification with SURiX’s IP door phone. Matrix Comsec are specialists in IP-PBXs, VoIP Gateways and IP Phones.

The newly announced interoperability initiative will enable Matrix to provide its customers with enhanced security accessories and help it to consolidate its standing within the telephony solution market.

SURiX’s IP Access (News - Alert) which is a full SIP VoIP door phone has been designed to enhance a company’s security initiatives and to ensure more comprehensive visitor screening. It allows users to open a door using any extension of the Matrix IP-PBX. Furthermore, the door phone can be configured to call a SIP phone via Matrix IP-PBX, thus allowing even for long-distance communication.
